Introduction
Sunday was about time Lady and I got our asses over to Fairmount Park, one of the nation's largest city parks - if not the largest, I'm not sure. I always thought that Central Park had the title, but I've been told otherwise.
It was a nice hike, a couple of hours, with our friends Jodi & Pat who introduced us to the trail. If you haven't been there yet, I'd highly suggest it - it's quite serene. Amazing that the fifth largest city in the U.S. is about 4 miles away. Fairmount Park stretches pretty far up north and I'm sure I'll be back in the Park many times to discover more of its secrets.
