Despite profound and fundamental differences, I have decided that Pennsylvania will be better served by electing Bob Casey to the U.S. Senate than giving his opponent another term. I do this knowing that I may forever regret not responding one more time to the clarion call of principle. That will be in the Philadelphia Inquirer tomorrow. Words by the former president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. And that, in my eyes, makes her a complete douchebag.
Choosing to endorse an anti-choice [among other things] candidate instead of an incredible Progressive Democrat in Chuck Pennacchio makes her a douchebag.
Supporting a candidate who believes this:
makes her a douchebag. It would seem obvious: Democratic Senate candidate Robert P. Casey Jr., who opposes abortion, believes Roe v. Wade should be overturned.
"You can't say you have the position I have and not believe that," Casey said in a recent interview about the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that made legal abortions available nationwide.
I'm not much of a single-issue voter, but Ms. Michelman was the president of one of those huuuge single-issue voting blocs. She just sold them out. Big time. And that makes her a douchebag.
Words do not describe how stupid she is. It's a sad day for America.

Well, wonder what the heck her price was? How much does a soul go for these days?????
To be making that statement at this time - when we still have a primary is incredible - can she specifically address what makes Casey the superior DEMOCRATIC candidate over the other 2? And "Viability" is OFF THE TABLE - appropiate messages from people of her position can affect viability - she should not get to use it as an excuse.
She's not a douchebag. Douchebags are useful to women - they have a purpose. She does NOT!
