I just called up the Board of Elections and found out that I'm officially on the ballot in Ward 5 Division 8 for Committeeperson on the Democrat side. Three others are on the ballot, two women named Peggy and a man named John.
Cool.

Congrats. I think you'll benefit from the "I only vote for people named Peggy" vote being split.

I hear that's a large voting bloc over in W5 D8.

Congrats, Albert. If I lived over there, and voted, you would have my vote!

Albert, I am so very excited for you and proud to consider you a friend. Watching you climb this hill and share it with the world is inspiring.
You rock man.

Hello Albert, Its great for your area that you actually are in a contested race for Committeeperson. When I took up that position here out here in the burbs there was no contest because it was empty. Active committe people are really the key to grassroots success.

This is the Peggy that you met on March 4th while getting your petition signatures. Congrats on getting your petition in. I hope that we get to work together representing our neighbors - one way or another. Today I went to the ballot position drawing. It was a great experience in a old-fashioned and grassroots way. I actually picked my ballot position from a coffee can. For the record, Albert, the incumbant Jonathan has the top spot, I am second, you are third, and the incumbant Peggy is fourth.
