And kudos to the Daily News for coming up with one hell of a cover for today's print edition.
I recall the Veep receiving that classic rifle some time ago. Was it a rare Colt or Winchester or something? From the NRA? I forget. But it was reminiscent of that reel of Heston raising that rifle at the NRA summit and crying out "From my cold dead hands" and then he killed an ape.
And no, that's not the gun the Sith used to shoot poor [not monetarily] Harry Whittington, that was a 28-gauge shotgun. I'd have been more impressed if the Sith was rifle shooting the teensy tiny five inch long birds. Is that even possible?
And one more thing. The MSM and the spinsters keep on insisting that not a single bullet was involved and that it was a "spray" of pellets. Well, it's more like a spray of bullets. A shotgun blast is a pretty nasty thing. Instead of a single bullet entering the body, you have a few dozen [not sure of the exact number] entering the body ripping up everything in it's path. Not as nasty as a rifle shot, but worse than most handguns. I recently watched this program on the Discovery-Times Channel or a similar channel on the deadliest bullets, I can't find the program online now, arg. Quite interesting and hoffrifying to watch the destructive forces of bullets and what exactly they do once they enter the body cavity.
Ah, beauty...the bigger the gun the smaller the pee-pee.
