So this little blog of mine has grown quite a bit. And yesterday, I was actually contacted by a representative from [a firm representing] the American Democracy Institute. Their Eastern Regional Summit is at the National Constitution Center this Saturday [the morning after my birthday].
The activities start up at 8.30a [ouch!] and Sen. Hillary Clinton will be making the keynote speech at 10a. The action continues on until 3p.
So this will make credentialed event #2, the first being via Philly Future for Live8 in Philly last summer.
But schlepping over to the NCC at 8.30a [latest entry at 9.45a!] in biz casual is going to be tough. For one, I don't get dressed all snazzily in the mornings anymore so that's going to be an obstacle. Also, it's a Saturday morning. Thirdly, it's the morning after my birthday. But if I'm in one piece and make it there, it should be cool. The NCC is a free WiFi hotspot so liveblogging will be on. And I'll surely have my camera so almost live photos will be up as well. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get up and that the NCC has WiFi throughout the venue.
Right On! Super blogger! Walk up to Hillary and ask her questions dude!
