After about 500 shots with the new lens, I finally got around to shooting a brick wall. Only weirdos will understand why I'd want to shoot straight on into a brick wall.

I don't know enough about 'acceptable' distortion with lenses that wide, I will when I go and buy one on of my own... but for now, it looks pretty good. A little fish-eyed at the edges, but that's a wiiiiiide lense.
I've got a great wide angle for my old Pentax K-1000... gathering dust.

slightly fish-eyed at the edges. we don't have any sense of scale, so it could be up-close and distorted, or huge and wide (and thus pretty good)...
