I'm writing in response to the stand the editors took in the November 28th issue of The Nation http://www.thenation.com/doc/20051128/editors. I'm a Nation subscriber and I'm especially proud of the editors for taking this stand to only support candidates who are for an exit strategy with a timetable. I wanted to highlight a particular Senate race for 2006, the PA senate race. I am a volunteer for the Chuck Pennacchio
There are two other candidates Alan Sandals (D) and John Featherman (R), but I'm not going to shill for them right now, but either of them would be a better choice than either Jr. or Santorum.
I hope that the editors of The Nation can keep their promise to "help identify - and encourage support for - those candidates prepared to bring a speedy end to the war and to begin the hard work of forging a new national security policy that an end to the Iraq War will make possible." Chuck is one of those candidates. If you'd like to get in contact with the campaign, please feel free to contact them through the website or the blog. Or through me, I'm in contact with them daily, hell, hourly.
You can expect to see my renewal of my subscription in the next week!
Thank you,
Albert Yee

I'm with you on the issue of the Democratic Party hacks and their preordained choice of Casey, screw them. A paper cut would be better than eithe Casey or Santorum.
I have been arguing with newspapers and polling organizations for their failure to recognize the other candidates in the primaries next year. They all act like the primaries no longer happen. Its as if we all moved to Soviet Russia and the parties are supposed to pick our candidates for us.
Ed Rendell sucks big time. Screw him and the party hacks who would take away our democratic rights for their right wing hegemony over Pennsylvania and American politics.
