Well, my cousin made my desicion for me whether or not I should plunk down the $50 for the Saturday session of Eschacon 2005, he's getting married on that Saturday, September 3rd.
I haven't spoken nor seen my cuz in a little bit, I'd say since New Year's or Thanksgiving [the two huge family gatherings]. I knew he was in a long-term relationship, but to get the voicemail saying that he needed my address to send me an invite was out of nowhere. Crazy.
I've dreaded getting that call from my friends before we turned the big 3-0 or so. Haven't gotten it yet.
And then in October, my big sister is getting married as well. I'm gonna have to send some delayed presents/moolah with this move eating up all the funds. Maybe once I get my deposit back on my current apartment.
I'm planning on going to the picnic/softball game in Fairmount Park on Sunday to close out Eschacon - that sounds like it's gonna be fun. I just hope it doesn't rain.
