Thanks to Antonia who somehow found my blog from Oxford, England, I now have a copy of The Independent [London] with my mug in it. A reporter from The Independent based in DC somehow came across my blog before Live8 and asked if I'd like to be interviewed the day after, I immediately said yes and at 9.15a Sunday I got a call. I groggily answered his questions and a few days later, saw the article online.
They asked me to send a photo of my mug as well, but I didn't see it online, so I didn't think they'd waste the space in print, but to my surprise, there I am. I asked a security guard to snap that shot of me at about 6p or 7p after everything was over. So, I guess a bunch of Brits got to read my über paraphrased words and glanced at my Bell's palsy'd smile.
Thank you so much Antonia! And thank you for coming to Philly to help out with the Kerry campaign all the way from England.
I'm sending Antonia a print of Will Smith from my Live 8 Photo Gallery and she's even going to donate to Oxfam, UK for the cause because she's that kinda person.
And below is the full spread of the interviews with people from each Live8 concert event.

that is a pretty awesome story! Nice mug, btw.
Hey, does this mean your all moved's in already, with internet (stolen?) and all?

Did you really have Bell's Palsy? My guy has it, although his face looks fine now.

Yep, I gots it. The day after Christmas 2004 is when it happened. Great, eh? It got gradually worse for about a week or two. The left side of my face was completely palsy'd. Then it faded for about 3 months or so and now, it's still palsy'd. I'm still not used to it. I'm still very conscious of it. Self-conscious about it. Makes me feel a little off.
