To the left is a photo from the barbershop singers group I went to take photos of over the weekend up in Glen Foerd in NE Philly where Grant Ave meets the Delaware.
I had a ton of fun! The cabbie didn't quite know where it was and it ended up costing me $40 because I left later than I had initially planned. But I got there in time to reel off about 150 shots of the group.
This is the shot that will most likely be used for the Milestones issue next month. Will it be another cover? Who knows. Taht would be cool and it means a little more bread in my pocket. Which would definitely be nice since that $40 cab ride sucked big hairy goat balls. The ride back on the R7 was quick and painless and cheap! Only $3.75 and it took about twenty minutes to get into 30th St Station. I hoofed it back home from there considering I had just spent so much damn money on transportation.
Click on the photo or here to see the initial edit of my photos up on Flickr in a nice neat set.
I'll be posting a couple of these on my photoblog soon. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post to that in the near future with the whole move going on this weekend and who knows when Comcast will end up showing up with our broadband.
