My first edit of the race photos from Sunday are up in a flickr set. I really like using flickr as a means to look at my first edit. I use a Photoshop action to very simply edit them quickly as a batch. Then up they go and I can get a quick look at what they all look like. Flickr's compression algorithms are less than woderful though.
This was the first time I've ever really shot something moving quickly. I'm usually shooting people walking around town, buildings, things or graffiti. Taking photos of championship quality international cyclists zooming by at upwards of 50mph is quite different. I could actually feel a whoosh as they biked by me when they got close.
Any thoughts?
Pictures look good. Lots of activity at the start/finish line on the Parkway.

Yep, that's basically where I was. I wish I got up early enough to go out there before the race started to see the setup and start of this gigantic race, but I am merely mortal and do not have the powers to get up at that time on the weekends.
