The Doc over at the All Spin Zone knows a possible challenger for the Republican nomination for PA's US Senate seat and has invited him to the next Philly Drinking Liberally tomorrow night at Ten Stone [South/20th Sts 6-9p].
I think the conversation between this "Republican Challenger to Santorum" and the Drinking Liberally group might be very stimulating. Hey, the rest of you can join in with advice for him as well — I've given him this link so he can see your responses as well.
This race already has a ton of national attention and this will only add to it. More national attention will hopefully spurn some more Pennsylvania attention.
Who dares go up against one of the top Repugs in the nation? Stop on by tomorrow night and find out.
***UPDATE*** 11p
Now, I'm told that Chuck Pennacchio, candidate for the Democratic nomination for the PA US Senate seat. He's supposed to get there around 6p, so get there early. The gang should be sitting right by the front window.
*CORRECTION* 6.21
The possible challenger has been invited to DL by the Doc, but hasn't committed to coming just yet.
~it is time to boot the Senator from Virginia (Rick, that is, he does not even if in the state he represents). Santorum has misrepresented Pennsylvania for far too long...~

I need to mention here that the Challenger is mulling the possibility of running, and I'd guage him at 60%. Also, I invited him to Drinking Liberally, and he said he'd come sometime, but he's not committed to this week, as yet.

I doubt there will be a Republican challenger to Santorum. Mehlman is raising money for Santorum.
