This weekend I played about three hours of ultimate on Saturday and then an hour and a half of soccer on Sunday. I biked to both events totalling about twelve miles or so. Working out with weights and running for the past few weeks helped a bit, but I'm still beat. Oof.
I haven't played any kind of organized soccer in almost seven yers. Long since I used to travel up and down the east coast playing tournaments year round. I think I used to play around 300 days a year. I was pretty good. It's pretty crazy how off my touch was. My soccer muscles weren't on par with my brain which wanted to do things my legs weren't ready to do just yet.
