I'm going on a tour of our printing presses after work today. It sould be interesting. I'll see the paper being laid out and physically printed onto the newsprint.
I'm told we print our stuff at the same facilities as the Daily News and the Inquirer. Maybe I'll snag some early editions hot off the presses to bring home with me. I can tell you the news tonight for tomorrow. The fuuuuuuuuuuuuture.
That is a cool process. I was at USA Today for a number of years, and 11:35 each night was my favorite time...it's when the files were beamed by satellite to all 12 printing locations...and the presses started rolling. Fun.
