So, Sinclair Broadcasting Group is forcing all of its local affiliates to air a hateful, one-sided "documentary" about Kerry's Vietnam War record. The local affiliates are being forced to air this "documentary" in lieu of their already scheduled programming. This 90 minutes of hate is just wrong in so many ways. We can all do little things to help prevent this thing from being aired on our local Sinclair-owned stations.
Here is some info on Sinclair.
Here is a .txt file with the email addresses of the local affiliates across the US from this list. Cut and past the names in an email.
Here is a page with the companies who are the major Sinclair shareholders.

Not sure what to write? Here's what I wrote to the program directors:
Dear Programming Director or Assignment Editor,And here's what I wrote to the local affiliates, basically the same except for the second to last paragraph:
My name is [dragonballyee] and I am a concerned citizen of our United States. I think that what your parent company, Sinclair Broadcasting Group (SBG), is sinister, hateful and commits selective censorship.
SBG was behind booting talk show host Bill Maher off of the air for using his First Amendment right of free speech. He is now back on the air on HBO and has huge ratings. People want to hear his words. People wanted to hear his words before he was kicked off of SBG's stations.
SBG also decided to not air Ted Koppel's reading of the fallen soldiers' names who died fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. This was a show of patriotism, honoring the fallen by placing a face with the numbers. SBG thought otherwise.
And now, SBG is forcing all local affiliates to play this one-sided "documentary" disgracing Senator John Kerry's war record right before the election. Why doesn't SBG air a documentary showing both sides of the story? Why doesn't SBG air a documentary showing how George W. Bush ran from the Vietnam War with the help of his daddy? Why doesn't SBG air a documentary showing the shortcomings of this stolen administration?
You are a shareholder in this company that is not telling the entire truth concerning the war records of Senator John Kerry. You are a shareholder in this company and you now share the blame. You have the blood of the airwaves on your corporate hands. You can dump your shares, as many people have done already and leave this sinking ship before it is too late. Do it for your portfolio, do it for your country, do it for me. I am not fortunate enough to be able to invest in millions of shares in companies and have a strong voice like you currently hold. I am just one person, but I know there are more like me. We are all sending you letters telling you of our concerns. Please listen to our concerns and act with your conscience. If not your conscience, your portfolio, which is suffering due to this sinking rat infested ship.
I thank you for your time and I hope you make a decision based on what is the right thing to do.
Respectfully submitted,

You have the final power at your local affiliate. Flip a switch, stop a feed, do something! You cannot let SBG higher ups tell you what you have to do now. Do not let them force feed your viewers this hateful propaganda. And here's what I wrote to the advertisers, basically the same except for the second to last paragraph again:
You are an advertiser on this company's airwaves. SBG is a company that is not telling the entire truth concerning the war records of Senator John Kerry. You are an advertiser in this company and you will share the blame. You will have the blood of the airwaves on your corporate hands if you continue to advertise on their airwaves. It is your ad money that keeps their airwaves up and running. You can pull out your ad money, as many people have done already as well as the many shareholders who have abandoned this sinking ship before it is too late. Do it for your country, do it for me. I am not fortunate enough to be able to invest in millions of advertising dollars into companies and have a strong voice like you currently hold. I am just one person, but I know there are more like me. We are all sending you letters telling you of our concerns. Please listen to our concerns and act with your conscience.
Lemme know if you go through with this. Spread the word!
