So what goes on in Illy for Halloween?
I'm familiar with NYC and it's Village Parade. I took quite a few photos of that parade in 2002 when I ventured into the wild parade by my lonesome. I parked my ass around 23rd St, or wherever it ended, and snapped away for a couple of hours. Boy are there some crazyily drunk and creative people out there. Does Illy have a similar event?
Last year, I went to my [now] alma mater's Halloween Party. That's where I met the Hulk [above]. He was quite happy to be there. Quite happy indeed. He was a party favorite in the Beer Garden, where the photo was taken. Along with the Hulk, there was a great Frodo, hairy feet and all; purple guy from that oldskool MTV show The Maxx from 1996; and many more great costumes.
My boss was thinking of having a Halloween Par-tay, but there hasn't been much talk of it lately and it's a mere week and change away. What to do?!
And for the record, Lady and I dressed up as personals ads. We were a party favorite. Well, I lie. Most people didn't get it. Either they were too drunk, or the public school they were drunk at didn't teach them well enough. Their loss.
