Google strikes again with the Google Desktop Search. It's still in beta form, but it looks cool. You can search for: Outlook/Outlook Express,Word, AOL IM, Excel, Internet Explorer, Poewr Point and Text files. So far, that's only MS stuff, but I'm pretty sure they'll be able to expand that very soon to things like Mozilla products, digital photo files and .pdfs and the like.
I'm going to try this out on my laptop and see how much faster/slower this thing is than the Windows search tool with that stupid tail wagging dog.
