I got back about forty-five minutes ago after a solid seventeen hours on the campaign trail with Chuck Pennacchio. We met up at around 7.30a and headed out to Lancaster City. About six or seven events later between 9.30a and 10.30p, I'm back home with over 300 photos to go through to share.
It's incredible to watch it all up close like I did today. It's quite awe inspiring to see someone go full throttle all day like Chuck did. It's mind boggling to think that he does this all the time. And he'll be back on the road later today for a candidate forum. I honestly don't know how he does it.
We hit Central Market for some morning flyering. We went door to door to some local businesses around the Central Market area. We dropped by Café Aroma Borealis for an interview and some grub. We hit the Peace and Justice Coalition anti-War March 700 strong and a Lancaster Peace and Justice Coalition town meeting where Chuck spoke at the mic for a few minutes. We went door to door canvassing. We had dinner at Isaac's Deli and then it was off to the Guy Bard St. Patrick's Day Dance at the Reinholds VFW along with Lois Herr who is running for Congress in PA-16, Lee Heffner who is running for State Rep in PA-37 and Ginny Dillio who is running for State Rep in PA-99.
Above is Chuck speaking to a Lancaster activist while canvassing. More pictures and a little more in-depth info to come!
