New Boots

north face boots
I mentioned that I very much needed a new pair of boots [on sale for $65!] to replace my eight-year-old boots that have served me well. Yesterday, after work, I headed over to City Sports and picked up a new pair of North Face boots pictured above. They are waterproof. They are warm. They are comfortable. They are grippy. They got me to work today dry and slip free.

You've served me well my old Timberland boots, but your leakiness is just too much for me now. My cold wet feet cannot take it any longer. You've been with me from NY to Beantown to DC to Philly and everywhere in between. Parting is such sweet sorrow.

My old boots will be given to charity. Rittenhouse Sports Specialties [1729 Chestnut St 215.569.9957] takes shoes in any condition and recycle them to the homeless. I hope that they can add a strip of silicon sealant to the edges. But some shoes is better than no shoes. If anyone has some old pairs of shoes, bring them on over to Rittenhouse Sports Specialties and don't let them go to waste.

worst post ever. end of story.

hey 'Sir laughs-a-lot' thanks for stopping by again! you must really love my blog, it's been a little while. so what keeps you coming back? a favorite post perhaps?

ooh, and hey philebrity-ites. what's more mundane:
1) posting about my new kick ass boots and helping out the homeless in one fell swoop or
2) posting on my posting about my new kick ass boots and helping out the homeless in one fell swoop or
3) clicking on a post posting on my posting about my new kick ass boots and helping out the homeless in one fell swoop

and i like to shop at Sue's Produce. Joey, you need a $5 spot to get some groceries?

What is underneath the boot? "Stop Exploring DNA" "Stop Exploratory drilling of grass and weeds!" "Stop explore and smell the roses." What? What should I "Stop Explor.."?

This should be "Best Comment Ever."

If you were helping the homeless, how come you gave them your eight-year-old leaky boots that make your feet wet and cold and you couldn't wait to get rid of them? Why didn't you give them your new boots? Or better yet, why didn't you just add the extra silicone whatever to the old boots, keep thme, take the $70 you spent on the new ones and buy some homeless people some meals? I bet they'd appreciate a hot meal more than some leaky-ass boots that weren't good enough for you anymore.

Boring post or not, those are pretty hot new boots.

well michael benner, how much money do you give to the homeless? like i said, some boots is better than no boots. you criticize me for doing some good without saying whatever the fuck you do. i give food and money to the homeless all the time. so, show me some proof that you're some all might do-gooder for the homeless. otherwise, shut your word hole.

I'm not the one who claimed to be helping the homeless so much Albert. If you don't want criticism, then either take away comments from your blog or stop being a douchebag.

waa waa waa. criticize away mikey. just keep on being a douchebag about it, that's all i ask.

you can't just recycle the same insult he just used on you. it's bad form.
