Friday Night's Holiday Party

So Friday night's holiday party was Philebrity induced. I had a photo gig so I didn't get home until 9.15p or so. We left quickly. We got to Northern Liberties at about 10.10p or so. There were a few people who looked the Philebrity type, you know what I mean, and we wandered in. The place was empty. The band was packing up, a few stragglers about. I grabbed a cup and filled up with some Yards from a keg [oh yes, it was a kegger].

We looked around for a bit and decided the place was dead and left after about fifteen minutes.

As we milled around NoLibs, I was bitching about how lame it was that a party call it quits at 10p. I mean, what kind of a party is that? It should get started at 10p. I was quite pissed.

I get home and see that Typepad/SixApart finally got it's fucking act together and my bloggy blog was up in order. I went over to Philebrity's site and went to see what was up. Apparently, there was another party they were throwing at Silk City from 10p - 2a. Heh. I guess that's why there was nobody to be seen at this par-tay.

So, note to self. If invited to a holiday party of a blog, read the blog the day of the party.

Although, I must say in my defense, I barely had time to do anything today at work besides actual work shit. I was going bonkers. Just checked my email every once in awhile and checked to see if Typepad/SixApart was up yet. Oh well.
