June Philly for Change Meetup

Wednesday night is this month's Philly for Change meetup. It'll be upstairs at Moriarty's at 1116 Walnut St starting at 7p. Go grab some quick grub and head on over or just head on over and have some good eats at Moriarty's. I've had a nice lunch there in the past and I hear their wings are killer.

On the agenda for the meet:

  • U.S. Senate Candidate Chuck Pennacchio will be speaking and answering our questions.
  • We'll be getting a sneak peek at "OutFoxed" and "Unprecedented" director Robert Greenwald's new film.
  • We'll be taking action on defeating "Slick Rick" Santorum, working to stop the Bolton nomination, and going on the offensive to make healthcare for everyone a reality.
  • Last, but not least, we'll be planning our first annual Philly for Change Potluck Picnic!

I'm particulary happy to see that Chuck Pennacchio will be there as I missed the last Philadelphia organizational meeting last month due to Lady's cousin's wedding. Robert Greenwald's new film will most likely be a must see as well when that comes out.

I'll be sure to post the details, and photos, of the meet afterwards, but it would be even better to see you there!
