New Faces for Old Blogs

I love going to the Philly Future meets each month. I get to meet the people whose thoughts I read on a regular basis in the flesh.

Some new faces I met last night: Star from Sarcasmo's Corner. Our Flickrs are always overlapping and we knew we lived right by each other, but didn't know what either of us looked like. And now we've met in the flesh. We live around the corner from each other! I'm sure we'll see each other on the street all the time now. That always happens when you meet someone new like that. Josh and Bec from Skaroff Blog a site that I just discovered in the past week or so. New faces to go with a new blog discovery. Chris from Rowhouse Logic who played an integral part of the Seth Williams campaign and had some real personal reasons to be involved. It was great to meet him case we were working pretty closely for the past few weeks. And Dan from Blinq, the Inky's new blog. It was awesome to talk to a guy who has been in the real journalism world for the past 25 years and now he's been set loose on his own blog. He has no editor which is pretty cool.

It was great to meet everyone and see all the old faces I've seen now for the past three months or so. We're growing with each meet, with or without a damn table to sit down at.

Good links! I always enjoy reading your blog, even if I'm not from Philly, because there always seems to be an interesting link or some story to make me stop and think.

I hate to be that guy...but it's spelled Skaroff. :)

Crap, sorry about that. I hate when people misspell my name. It's been corrected.
