Ukrainian Civil Conflict

Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych was declared the winner of the Presidential election. Ukrainian opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko has rejected the result and told his supporters that the country was on the brink of a "civil conflict" as a result of the shady results.

And in an ironic turn of events:

US Secretary of State Colin Powell said Washington "cannot accept" the election result as legitimate.
...
"It's still not too late to find a solution which respects the will of the people," Mr Powell said.
Good grief. Hey Colin, why don't you investigate the vote right here in your backyard before sticking your nose into someone else's election business?
